Sunday, July 12 Morning Worship

Reminder

  1. Let us study some of the characteristics of the Word of God.

12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

  1. Let us see the intent of the Word of God.

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”

Isaiah 55:10-11

  1. Let us understand the caution in the Word of God.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

  1. Let us grasp an important factor about the Word of God.

31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples.

John 8:31
