Change

Introduction:

We are all entering into a season of change and we will all respond differently. Most of us may respond negatively with fears, doubts, and frustrations or even with a time of decision. These emotions can dominate us and may cause us to make choices that are wrong but may seem right at the time.

The question is since change is here for us all, instead of being dominated by negative emotions, how can we come to the point that this will be a positive Godly experience?

Listen to this passage in Romans 15:13, the Bible says; May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.”

Let us study this together and move from negative emotions or let me say, let us prohibit ourselves from becoming negative to the positive emotions that God’s Spirit can bring us all.

Outline: So, how does this all work? Or let me say during seasons of change, how can God work His goodness of letting this be a positive experience?

  1. We must focus on who God is and not on our present emotional reality.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

  1. We must count on the character of God manifesting itself in us during this time of transition.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

  1. We must wait on the power of God to explode in our midst.

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Conclusion:

  1. Let us decide today to not allow fear to grip us all because we have the God of all hope.

  1. Let us not make quick decisions in this time but let us wait on God in prayer as He manifest himself to us all.

  1. Let us understand that we can exceed into God’s best for us all.
